HE Mohammed Ahmed Al Bowardi is the Minister of State for Defense, UAE. In addition, he is the Chairman of the Committee for Developing and Implementing the Water and Agriculture Strategy for Abu Dhabi and a board member of Tawazun Holding.
He is the Managing Director of the Abu Dhabi Environment Agency, Deputy Chairman of the Mohamed Bin Zayed Species Conservation Fund and the International Fund for Houbara Conservation, as well as a member of the Board of Trustees of Abu Dhabi University (ADU).
Mr. Al Bowardi has previously held the positions of Undersecretary of the Ministry of Defense, Secretary-General of the General Secretariat of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council and Chairman of its Executive Committee.
Mr. Al Bowardi holds a degree in History and Political Science from Lewis & Clark College, USA.
H.E. Ahmed Ali Al Sayegh is a Minister of State in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Cabinet, the Managing Director of Dolphin Energy Limited and the Chairman of Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM). With three decades of international experience and business leadership.
H.E. Al Sayegh holds several positions in a number of leading public and private institutions in Abu Dhabi, and has an extensive track record in launching and developing pioneering initiatives across various key industries. In addition, H.E. Al Sayegh’s portfolio includes being a Board Member of Etihad Airways Group, and Chairman of Al Jazira Capital Real Estate Investment and Development, to name a few.
As part of his corporate citizen commitments, H.E. Al Sayegh is also on the Board of Trustees of Abu Dhabi University, the Deputy Chairman of the Emirates Nature-WWF, and was the founding Managing Director of the Emirates Foundation.
In his corporate career, H.E. Al Sayegh served in several key capacities including as the former founding Chairman of Aldar Properties, founding Chairman of Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company (Masdar), and Deputy Chairman of First Gulf Bank. He also headed senior positions in leading governmental institutions such as Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) and Abu Dhabi Investment Company (Invest AD).
H.E. Al Sayegh holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Lewis & Clark College, USA.
HE Suhail Mohamed Faraj Al Mazrouei was appointed Minister of Energy in March 2013. He is a Board Member and Managing Director of IPIC and Chairman of IPIC subsidiaries
Borealis, NOVA Chemicals, CEPSA, and Aabar Investments.
In addition, HE is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Federal Electricity and Water Authority (FEWA), Chairman of the Board of Directors of Mubadala Petroleum Co, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Liquefied Gas Co, Member of the Supreme Petroleum Council, Member of the Board of Directors of Tatweer Petroleum Co, Member of the Board of Directors and Board Vice-Chairman of (Barakah One Company), and Member of the Board of Directors and Board Vice-Chairman of (Nawah Energy Company).
In 2017, HE increased his ministerial portfolio and was appointed Minister of Energy and Industry.
HE Suhail Al Mazrouei holds a Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Tulsa in the United States.
Mohammed Saif Al Mazrouei is Board Member and the Advisor to His Highness the Chairman of Tawazun Economic Council (TEC). Prior to his current appointment, Al Mazrouei had been the CEO of TEC from 2000 to 2008. He joined TEC as a Projects Manager in 1994 and two years later, was appointed Deputy Chairman.
Prior to joining TEC, Al Mazrouei worked at the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) in the position of Human Resources Manager.
Al Mazrouei holds a Bachelor degree in Business Administration from the University of La Verne in the United States.
Musabbeh Al Kaabi is the Chief Executive Officer of Petroleum & Petrochemicals at Mubadala, which covers a portfolio of international assets spanning the oil and gas value chain.
Previously Al Kaabi was CEO of Mubadala Petroleum, and prior to that he had a 16-year career with Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) leading the Exploration Division.
Al Kaabi holds a number of board positions including Compania Espanola de Petroleos SA (Cepsa), an upstream oil and gas company headquartered in Spain; Cosmo Energy Holdings, an integrated oil and gas company with upstream and downstream operations based in Japan; Borealis, a leading producer of petrochemicals headquartered in Austria, and NOVO Chemicals, a North American based producer of plastics and chemicals.
Hatem Nuseibah is the President & Chief Representative of Total in the UAE.
Nuseibeh started his career in Abu Dhabi in 1976 as a Petroleum Engineer with ADCO and joined Total in 1980 as a reservoir engineer.
In 1987 he was transferred to Total Abu Al Bukhoosh as a Head of the Reservoir Department and then as Petroleum Development Manager.
From 1993 to 1995, Nuseibeh spent 2 years as Head of Europe & CIS Region Reservoir Division, Total, Paris, before taking the position of Head of Africa Region in the New Projects Division, from 1995 to 1997.
From 1997 to 2000, Nuseibeh served as Managing Director of Total Upstream Nigeria. From 2000 to 2003, he served as Managing Director, Total E&P Libya, then from 2004 to 2009 as Managing Director of Total E & P Syrie.
Before coming to Abu Dhabi, Nuseibah was Managing Director, Total E&P Yemen/ Total Yemen LNG from 2009 to August 2013.
He completed his education in the UK at Eton & Salford University.
Laurent Vivier is the President of Gas, at Total.
He started his career within Total in 1996, holding successive positions in the Group’s trading offices in Paris, Geneva, London and Houston. He was responsible for the trading activities in LPG and then in natural gas for the European Continent and North America.
Vivier graduated in France at the EDHEC School of Business, and then obtained an MSc at the London School of Economics and Political Science.
Stéphane Michel is the President Middle East, Exploration & Production Division at Total.
Prior to this current position, Michel was the Managing Director of Total E&P Qatar from 2011 to 2014 and he held the position of Managing Director of Total E&P Libye after being responsible for Total E&P Qatar Joint Venture and Business Development from 2008 to 2010.
A graduate of Ecole Polytechnique (1994) and Ecole des Mines de Paris (1997), Michel is an Engineer of the Corps des Mines.
Stephen Lloyd is Senior Vice President and General Manager of Oxy Oil and Gas – UAE, an affiliate Occidental Petroleum.
Mr. Lloyd is responsible for all UAE operations, including joint venture oversight of ADNOC Sour Gas. He also has oversight for the UAE Human Resources, Information Technology and Finance departments.
Mr. Lloyd joined Occidental from Schlumberger, where he held various technical and management roles in the US and internationally. He has over 35 years of experience in the petroleum industry and holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Louisiana State University and an M.S. in Management Science from Imperial College in London.
Edward A. (Sandy) Lowe is Group Chairman, Middle East, Occidental Oil and Gas Corporation and Executive Vice President, Occidental Petroleum Corporation (Oxy).
Lowe has held a number of engineering and project development leadership positions during his 30 years with the company. He has been a senior leader of Occidental’s international team for over a decade.
Most recently, Lowe served as President, Oxy Oil and Gas – International, from 2008 to 2009, he was appointed Executive Vice President of Occidental Petroleum, and Executive Vice President and General Manager for Dolphin Energy from 2002 to 2007.
Lowe holds a bachelor’s degree in Science from Tulane University.
Kenneth Dillon is President, International Oil and Gas Operations – Oxy Oil and Gas, a subsidiary of Occidental Petroleum Corporation (Oxy).
Appointed in 2016, Dillion is responsible for the management of the company’s international operations, including Occidental’s key focus areas in Oman, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates and Colombia.
Most recently, Dillion served as Senior Vice President – Operations and Major Projects in 2014. He was named Vice President – Major Projects in 2011 and was promoted to Senior Vice President in 2012. Dillion holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Strathclyde University, Glasgow, United Kingdom.
